IOT future world

IOT

"A network of Internet connected objects able to collect and exchange data." It is commonly abbreviated as IoT. ... In a simple way to put it, You have "things" that sense and collect data and send it to the internet. This data can be accessible by other "things" too.

INVENTOR OF  IOT

Kevin Ashton is sometimes called the “Inventor of IoT” since the first used the term in 1999 to describe a system where the Internet is connected to the physical world via ubiquitous sensors.
He is a serial entrepreneur and co-founded the Auto-ID Center at MIT.

 TECHNOLOGIES AND PROTOCOLS

USE OF IOT

IoT is essentially a platform where embedded devices are connected to the internet, so they can collect and exchange data with each other.
It enables devices to interact, collaborate and, learn from each other's experiences just like humans do.

PURPOSE OF IOT

Internet-connected devices has been to enable people to communicate with each other and to access online data and processes.
The main purpose of IoT devices is to generate real-time data that we can then analyze and use to create desired business outcomes.

FUTURE OF IOT

In a span of ten years, from 2020 to 2030, IOT devices will grow from 75 billion to more than 100 billion, and the improvement from 4G to 5G in terms to grow IOT is most important.
Today's 4G network can support up to 5500 to 6000 NB-IOT devices on a single cell.

LANGUAGE USED IN IOT

C is generally considered the key programming language for embedded IoT devices, while C++ is the most common choice for more complex Linux implementations.
Python, meanwhile, is well suited for data-intensive applications. Given the complexities, maybe IoT for All put it best.

 IOT PLATFORM

Multi-layer technology that enables straightforward provisioning, management, and automation of connected devices within the Internet of Things universe. ...
Thus, an IoT platform can be wearing different hats depending on how you look at it.

                IOT DEVICE LIFECYCLE

ADVANTAGES OF IOT

  • saves lot of  time.
  • helps to save more money by reducing manual task and time.
  • Automating daily life tasks makes good monitoring of devices.
  • Increased efficiency and time-saving.
  • With good features make a better quality of life.
  • provides good automation and control.
  • Tracking ability,Modern lifestyle

DISADVANTAGES OF IOT

  • Reduced safety for users.
  • They may become highly complex resulting in failure.
There is no standard for tagging and monitoring with sensors.More  complexity.

Most Popular IoT Devices In 2020

1) Google Home Voice Controller

Smart IoT device which allows the user to enjoy features like media, alarms, lights, thermostats, control the volume and much more functions just by their voice.

The devices enable users to speak voice commands to interact with services through Google Assistant, the company's virtual assistant .

2) Amazon Dash Button

Amazon Dash Button

Device that gets connected over internet Wi-Fi and makes sure that the user does not lack important household items like soft drinks, grocery material, medical and personal care, kids and any pet items ever again.
